We are simply stewards; nothing truly belongs to us – Rev. Offei

By Eric Appah Marfo, GNA

Accra, Nov. 10, GNA – Reverend Emmanuel
Offei of the Resurrection Power and Residing Bread Ministries Worldwide,
Dansoman branch has urged Christians to portray faithfulness in every part of
their lives as required of stewards.

He said as stewards, they really should bear in
mind that they owned at all, but simply caretakers and would give an account
to God on the very last day.

Rev Offei produced these remarks on Sunday
throughout his sermon on the topic: “Christian Stewardship and Revenue.”

He quoted from the scriptures expressing, “No
one can provide two masters. Either you will dislike one particular and appreciate the other, or you
will be devoted to one particular and despise the other. You are unable to provide each God and
income.”

The Reverend Minister highlighted 5
fundamental principles of stewardship, with the initial being the basic principle of
ownership.

He explained that this theory mandated
humans to have dominion of the globe and care for it on behalf of God.

The 2nd and 3rd principles, he reported had
to do with responsibility and accountability, hence, stewards were to act in an
satisfactory way and assure that no matter what had been handed into their treatment,
ended up very well catered for.

He observed the fourth and fifth ideas
have been faithfulness and reward and that, stewards who played their role
faithfully and in the fashion satisfying to God ended up being rewarded.

Rev Offei recommended citizens to be cautious in
their pursuit of prosperity for the reason that the like of revenue could flip their hearts from
God.

He advised them to be consistent with
their fiscal guidance in the church because these sacrifices could attract
blessing and security on their behalf.

“Even right before God could get us on His aspect,
He to start with experienced to sacrifice His only Son Jesus Christ. Absolutely nothing superior arrives quick,”
he added.
