The Electoral Commission (EC) has clarified that neither the Chairperson nor her partner has links to Persol Devices Constrained, as purported in modern media stories.
Stories in part of the media have instructed that Persol Devices Confined, the firm the EC has awarded the contract to build information for the Fee, belongs to the spouse of the Chairperson.
In a statement signed by the Director of General public Affairs of the EC, Mrs Sylvia Annoh, the Fee referred to these kinds of publication as an outrageous lie.
The Commission calls on the standard general public to disregard the publication as it is an endeavor to malign the integrity and believability of the chairperson.
Further more, the Commission recommended the typical community to generally verify information in the media, significantly social media.
