Several reports circulating in Ghana recently suggested that the Kotoka International Airport was being sold by government to a foreign company to take over its management and operations.
However, in an audio below, Mr Joseph Kofi Adda, the minister of aviation said no such deal has been conceived by government.
According to Mr. Adda Kofi Joseph, the ministry is rather considering “a proposed Strategic Partnership Arrangement between GACL and TAV-SUMMA Consortium to improve service delivery and expansion of infrastructure at the Kotoka International Airport.
The statement also revealed that the Ministry was yet to formally begin the process.
He stated it categorically that the false information on the sale of the Kotoka International Airpot is the work of mischievous and malicious people to tarnish the image of the staff of GACL and government to achieve their diabolical agenda.
