The Deputy General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Obiri Boahen has blast IMANI, Asiedu Nketia and Bernard Monarh for turning out to register for the new voters ID.
According to Nana Obiri Boahen, IMANI, Asiedu Nketia and Bernard Mornah who were against the compilation of the new voters register have reportedly registered their names even though it was the first day the electoral commission had started the exercise.
Do they think it that making noise unnecessarily can elevate an opposition party to attain power”, he asked.
He revealed that, the voters register became bloated since the year 2010. A lot of people criticised him when he made statements about the registration exercise.
Eventually, the new voters register is in, all the demonstrations and press conferences made by the National Democratic Congress to prevent the EC from doing their work has gone wasted, he said.
