Popular Ghanaian musician and also the first runner up of the first edition of TV3’s music reality show ‘Mentor’, says he was poisoned during his days in the ‘Mentor’ house.
Speaking on Emelia Brobey’s Okukuseku TV show, he revealed that, his enemies succeeded in their plot for three times. He reported this to the authorities of the program each time it happened but he was asked to keep it a secret.
According to him, he was not certain on who was behind it but he is sure that the person behind it saw something good in him.
“They realized I was one of the potential winners of the maiden edition of TV3 mentor, they tried to eliminate me with poison so there would be no competition. They attempted it for three times, I was made aware after diagnosis at the hospital”, he said.
He said he was admitted at Holy Trinity Hospital, the then sponsors of the show for three days. One of the authorities hinted him on why he was brought there but however asked him not to disclose the secret because it could go against the credibility of the program.
According to Andy, he eventually became cautious of activities in the house and started to prepare his own meals.
