A/R: Two children found dead inside a pastor’s car

Two children have been found dead in a parked car belonging to the head pastor of Light Salvation Ministry, Prophet Evans K. Oppong at Fawode in the Kwabre East Municipality of the Ashanti.

The deceased are identified as Blessed Yiedie Boadu 2 years and Emmanuel 2 years.

The unfortunate incident has thrown the deceased families, church members, and residents into a state of mourning and shock.

An eyewitness, Kwaku Boakye, who narrated the unfortunate incident in an interview with Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo, said the deceased were in the church with their parents when the incident happened.

According to him “The head Pastor of the Light Salvation Ministry Prophet Evans K. Oppong parked his car in front of the church during the church services and the children managed to get into the car”.

“They (the deceased) locked themselves and couldn’t open the door of the car. We searched for them after the church services but they were nowhere to be found”.

“After a long search the pastor decided to move his car and he realized that the children were in the car. We rushed them to Mamponteng hospital and they were pronounced dead”

Meanwhile, Mamponteng Police Command has commenced an investigation into the matter.

The bodies of the children have been deposited at the morgue for autopsy while Prophet Evans K. Oppong’s car has been parked at the Mamponteng Police station.
