The Ambassador At Large Foundation which was founded by a Journalist of Angel Broadcasting Network Ambassador Osei Kwadwo has reduced a burden of a ten (10) year old disabled Kofi who has been crawling to school for eight (8) years.
Kofi was born as disabled person and he has not been walking in his entire life.
The Ambassador At Large Foundation donated 3 wheelchairs and 1 crutch to physically challenged members in the in the Ashanti Region.
The President of the Ambassador At Large Foundation Okyeame Akowuah in an interview with Ghtimesonline.com said, members of the foundation were touched about the story of a 10 year old boy Kofi who crawls to school because his poor grandmother cannot afford to buy him a wheelchair.
According to Okyeame Akowuah, though we were touched with Kofi’s story but the foundation saw the need to buy additional Wheelchairs to support those who can others afford.
Okyeame Akowuah appealed to Ghanaians and those in abroad to support Ambassador At Large Foundation to help the foundation support the vulnerable people in the society.
“AMBASSADOR AT FOUNDATION has come to help Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) and the Vulnerable people in the Society” Okyeame Akowuah said.
Kofi’s Grandmother Madam Afia Barnie after recieving the wheelchair expressed her gratitude to members of Ambassador At Large Foundation for coming to Kofi’s aid.
“I can’t control my tears because Ambassador At Large Foundation has reduced the burden on me because of Kofi’s situation”.
According to Madam Afia “Kofi crawls to school everyday and sometimes I have to carry her to school and after school someone will bring him to me and I pay the person Ghc2”.
“I don’t have money to by a wheelchair for Kofi and it was my prayers to get help from someone. Today God has listened to my prayer. Now Kofi can go to school and move around with his new wheelchair” She added.
“May God showers his blessings on members of Ambassador At Large Foundation for supporting my grandson Kofi and other disabled persons”.
