The Founder and leader of the United Progressive Party (UPP) Akwasi Addae Odike has stated categorically that President Akuffo Addo’s government has introduced and implemented more freebies policies just to milk Ghanaians from the public purse.

According to Akwasi Addai Odike, President AkuffoAddo’s government policies which have been implemented have not been impacted the lives of Ghanaians because the policies were implemented without any due diligence.

Speaking on Kumasi Based Otec Fm Dwaberem, Akwasi Addai Odike urged President Akuffo to fix the country for Ghanaians and desist from giving excuses and blaming his predecessors for his failure.

“Ghana’s economy is sinking under President Akuffo Addo because all his policies didn’t have any impact on the lives of the ordinary Ghanaians and the economy. All the freebies policies which have been implemented by Akuffo Addo’s government is a way of stealing from Ghanaians and mismanaging the public purse” Odike said.

Akwasi Addai Odike said “Covid-19 has exposed the poor performance of President Akuffo-Addo’s government. President Akuffo Addo and his Vice Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia deceived Ghanaians they have built a robust economy but the so-called robust economy is struggling to survive under the covid-19 pandemic”

Odike added “Even if Ghanaians give President Akuffo 100 years to lead this country as president, he cannot revive the economy. President Akuffo Addo has failed the good people of Ghana and he should admit and apologize to Ghanaians for his failure”.

“The implementation of NABCo, Free SHS, 1 village 1 dam and other policies which have been implemented by Akuffo Addo is another opportunity for the government to steal from the state coffers because it will be difficult for Ghanaians to demand accountability since the policies are free” he added
