Renowned traditional priest Nana Kwkau Bonsam has charged President Akuffo-Addo to stop explaining to Ghanaians about the current power outage known as Dumsor and fix the situation.

Ghana is currently experiencing power outages (Dumsor) after the December 7 general elections while some parts of Ghana have been given dumsor timetable despite energy minister Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh assurance that dumsor is not back.

Speaking on Kumasi-based Angel Drive Time Show hosted by Ike De Unpredictable monitored by Ghtimesonline.com, Nana Kwaku Bonsam expressed worry about the current situation Ghanaians are experiencing under President Akuffo Addo.

According to Nana Kwaku Bonsam, the current power outage is getting out of hands which President Akuffo Addo’s administration should find a lasting solution to the problem and stop explaining the issue.

“At first the situation was not all that bad but now the situation is beyond control which means dumsor is back. If the government has no plans to fix the situation then Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) should release Dumsor timetable” Nana Kwaku Bonsam said.

He added that “During former President John Dramani Mahama’ administration the situation was dumsor but now the government is saying the situation is not dumsor. Government should tell us the name for this current power situation if it is not dumsor”.

“The talking is becoming too much and it will never fix the problem. The current power situation is gradually collapsing businesses. Ghanaians don’t want to experience Dumsor because it will be difficult for Ghanaians to endure the situation. President Akuffo Addo and the Energy Minister Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh should fix the situation and stop the talking” he added.
