Asempa fm journalist Daakyehene was maltreated at James town in Accra, Ghana.
In an interview on Asempa fm, the journalist disclosed to listners that his phone was seized by six strong men who were all dressed like the police when he was taking a video coverage of the activities going on at the registeration centre.
According to him, he was badly maltreated by these men in the presence of the police upon showing his identification as a journalist.
This occured at the Odododiodio constituency specifically James Town. He was released when one man intervened on his behalf.
He pleads that government and the EC see to it that activities at the various registration centers are checked in order to avoid chaos.
