‘I’m sorry, I was blind by NDC’s propaganda…Fmr NDC Vice Chairman apologies to Nana Addo, Kennedy Agyapong

The former Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Nhyiaeso Constituency of the Ashanti Region, Mawuli Ekpe popularly known as Abro, has remorsefully apologized to the President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central Hon Kennedy Agyapong.

Mawuli Ekpe popularly known as Abro apologized for spreading false information about President Akufo-Addo and Kennedy Agyapong on Television and radio stations and also campaigning against the good policies of the NPP.

Abro who was the Vice Chairman of NDC in Nhyiaeso Constituency in 2012 and 2016 defected and joined the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2020 and campaigned massively for President Akuffo-Addo.

Speaking in an interview with Pure Fm’s Osei Kwadwo monitored by Ghtimesonline.com, Abro remorsefully begged Hon Kennedy Agyapong and President Akuffo-Addo for forgiveness.

According to him, “I campaigned against President Akufo-Addo’s good policies and NPP because I was blinded by NDC’s propaganda”.

“I have regretted allowing myself to be controlled by NDC. I was thinking about how to lie for NDC to come to power but not the progress of this country. Hon Kennedy Agyapong, President Akuffo-Addo, and the supporters of NPP should forgive me” Abro said.
