A member of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti Region Mr. Evans Kofi Kwafo has stated categorically that supporters of the party deserve better treatment and opportunities than supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to him, supporters and loyalists of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), must have their interests prioritized by all government appointees.

Speaking in an interview with Pure Fm’s Osei Kwadwo monitored by Ghtimesonline.com, Mr. Evans Kofi Kwafo said supporters of NPP must be considered first in employment opportunities before NDC and other parties supporters and that is something he would have done if he had his own way.

“Some MMDCEs and government appointees are giving opportunities to NDC supporters and they have neglected the supporters of the NPP who fought hard for the party to come to power. I believe NPP supporters deserve better treatment and opportunities than supporters of the NDC” Mr. Kwafo said.

“I’m telling you this, if I have two job opportunities or any other opportunities as a DCE or MCE, I will give all the opportunities to NPP supporters and tell the NDC supporters to pray for more opportunities to come. I will serve my party supporters first before thinking about how to help the NDC supporters”.

Mr. Evans Kofi Kwafo added that “If you like let government appointees give all the opportunities to NDC supporters, they will never vote for NPP because they are loyal to their party so government appointees should also be loyal to NPP supporters who will be there for the party anytime”.

“Kwadwo, imagine the NDC party is in power and Appiah Stadium and I are seeking for business opportunity, do you think I will be considered first while Appiah Stadium is a die-hard member of the NDC?. They will give the opportunity to Appiah Stadium because he is a member of NDC and his party is in power”.
