The electoral commission of Ghana has started a name registration process after wining a court case against opposition party NDC. The voters registration process started on Tuesday 30th June.
Kabila, a member of CPP though thinks the registration process is going on well has raised concerns on some challenges the EC is facing. To him, The Electoral commission started the process with over 3000 centers out of 6000+ center. He and his team has not been to all these starting centers but on authority, he can say the EC is doing an impressive job.
The only challenges he will like to bring on board is the number of voters they are able to register in a day. The EC in earlier press conferences said they will register a maximum of 100 voters in a day. According to Kabila, most of the center they have been to are able to register and average of 65 voters a day. This as a results of delay on the part of the voters because they do not have their personal information in mind. He pleaded with the public to get all their information before entering the centers.
Also, media houses journalist should be mindful of some comment they make. Not all comments can help the process. Some may have negative impact on the the voters registration.
Later in the conversation, he urged all Ghanaians at age 18 and beyond to go out massively to register.
