The 2020 National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate in the Suame Constituency, Hon Francis Dodovi has chastised a leading member of the NDC, Dr. Benjamin Kumbour for demanding accountability from the leadership of the party on radio and television stations.

Dr. Benjamin Kumbour says leaders of the party must respond to calls by members, for details on how many votes its flagbearer obtained in the 2020 polls.

Dr. Benjamin Kumbour in an interview with JOY FM said, the party risks running into a credibility problem if it does not respond to such calls.

Francis Dodovi commenting on Dr. Benjamin Kumbour’s statement on Kumasi-based Pure FM Morning show hosted by Kwame Adinkra said it was so wrong for a leading member of NDC to demand accountability from the party leadership on radio.

According to Dodovi, Dr. Benjamin Kumbour should use the right channel to get answers to his questions.

“Dr. Benjamin Kumbour as a leading member of the party knows where to get answers to his questions. If there is something he doesn’t understand or bothering his mind, he should use the right channel to get answers” Dodovi said.

“Dr Benjamin Kumbour knows all the leaders in the party and I’m sure he doesn’t hold any grudges against them, so if he indeed wants to help the reformation of the party, he going on radio to demand accountability wasn’t necessary”.
