Takoradi Taxi drivers to break social distancing protocols
Taxi drivers in Takoradi, western region of Ghana, has vowed to break the social distancing protocols or they increase fares.
In an interview on Asempa fm, Simon, a reporter disclosed that, taxi drivers are complaining of increament in prices of fuel for about two months now.
According to him, the drivers are not happy as they obliged to follow the proticols laid down by the government in order to reduce cases of covid19 but it seems the government does not feel for them.
A member of the team said that, it is either the government take price of fuel back to normal or they break the social distancing protocol or better still increase fares.
They see this to be a cheat from the government. Thus the country is in crisis and all are doing their best to calm the situation but if the government will act otherwise then they will also retaliate as earning a living has become difficult for them.
