The Assembly Member for North Suntreso in the Bantama Constituency of the Ashanti Region Hon Agripah Opoku has commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Member of Parliament for Bantama, Hon Asenso Boakye for fulfilling their promise they made to the people of Suntreso by asphalting Suntreso inner roads.
North Suntreso inner roads have seen a major facelift after the road was awarded to Kofi Job Construction Limited in 2020 by President Akuffo-Addo’s government under the Year of Roads.
According to the Assembly Member for North Suntreso Electoral Area, Hon Agripah Opoku, the lack of good roads in the community affected the overall development and the economic wellbeing of the people for several years.
Speaking in an interview with Pure Fm’s Osei Kwadwo monitored by Ghtimesonline.com, Agripah Opoku said it is no more a story-telling matter, but a reality and they are happy and grateful to the government and the, MP Hon Asenso Boakye.
“Asphalting the Suntreso inner roads, the president had helped to solve a major problem that impeded the development of the people for far too long”
“Now business activities are booming and because of the good road, all the commercial drivers ply this road so it is easy to get a vehicle to town unlike when the roads were bad” he explained
He pleaded with the government to ensure that the remaining portion of the road is awarded to contract to help reduce the traffic situation on Abrepo Junction-Sofoline road and improve development in the area.
